HOW TO CREATE AN EPIC DANCE FLOOR:
Tips to create the perfect party for your big day

Limit the number of formalities that you schedule once the dance floor starts. A bouquet and/or garter toss can be OK since it’s naturally a higher energy event, but something like a cake cutting should be done beforehand.

01

Your guests will naturally want to be around you on your big day, so if you want them to dance, then be on the dancefloor yourself! If you spend a lot of time at the bar or outside away from the party, that’s where your guests will tend to congregate as well.

02

Think about your guests as a whole when choosing music. It’s easy to choose songs that YOU like, but think about what your guests will like as well. Believe me, grandma getting down on the dance floor or your dad making a fool of himself is a memory you’ll cherish forever!

03

Keep your bar close to the dance floor! One of the hardest things as a DJ is trying to compete with free alcohol that’s in another room. This goes for things such as photo booths as well. Limit the number of reasons your guests have to leave the dance area.

04

Put us next to the dance floor! Connecting with a dance floor is a real thing for DJs and that’s harder to do when you’re stuck in a corner or far away from where the fun is happening.

05

Props aren’t corny! Things like glowsticks, light-up foam sticks, or even just inflatable props can add a lot of fun to the dance floor.

06

Don’t be afraid to come tell me hi and do a little DJing yourself! I’ll set up the next song for you and you can mix into it; it creates awesome pictures and your guests will go crazy!
